01 / THE BRIEF

Explain a vertical company
to the buyers who matter.

Karabe sells to businesses rather than to shoppers. Buyers need to understand how the company works before they place an order: that it develops its own products, controls quality and price by operating as a vertical company, and can take a collection from idea to delivery.

The website had to tell that story clearly, present the collection visually, and give buyers a simple route to a conversation. Because Karabe’s customers are in Mexico and abroad, the content needed to work equally well in English and Spanish.

02 / THE WORK

Information selected,
structure and flow designed.

Daniel worked directly with three people at Karabe to gather content and align the website with company-wide goals. He selected and organised the information to include, then designed the site’s appearance, layout and flow around it.

  • A bilingual structure, with English and Spanish versions of every page.
  • Company pages that explain the story, vision and core values behind “Inspiring Fashion”.
  • Sections for product development, price and quality, and the vertical company model that set Karabe apart.
  • A products area for the collection and a clear contact path for business enquiries.

The digital image was designed quickly and concisely, capturing the company’s needs without a long discovery phase, which mattered for a business that wanted to start reaching buyers.

03 / THE OUTCOME

In the client’s
own words.

“He has an artistic eye and a keen sense of user experience implementing a new and fresh style website, with a sleek visual experience drawn in customers and boosted sales. He designed our digital image in a concise, fast way and captured all our needs quickly. Daniel is a creative, detail-oriented, and savvy web designer with a passion for what he does.”

Commercial Director, Karabe SA de CV
From his letter of recommendation for Daniel’s work on the Karabe website.

Two things from that letter shape how Digital8 still works. First, the website was judged on what it did for the business, not on how it looked. Second, coordination with the client’s team was a considerable part of the job, which is why every Digital8 project starts by agreeing who provides what, and when.
